Consignment

All vehicles require the same degree of attention in the process of being offered for sale. Advertising, promotion, storage, cleaning, preparation for viewing, etc.
are about the same for all.

All vehicles placed for sale with `autolegends may be subject to a stocking fee and / or an inspection fee. All vehicles must be in clean, safe operable condition when delivered to `autolegends for sale. All vehicles must be covered by the owner’s insurance during their stay. A machine copy offering proof of the vehicle’s insurance, title and registration must be left with `autolegends while the vehicle is under our care.

The stocking fee, if applicable, is $150.00.
Inspection fees may be $100.00 for vehicles out of warrantee and $50.00 for vehicles currently under a warrantee.

Consignment commissions are of three types: 

1. A sliding-scale percentage* of vehicle’s selling price commissioned to `autolegends.
2. An agreed flat fee commissioned to `autolegends. 
3. An agreed ‘reserve price’ paid post-sale to owner. All moneys above and beyond this agreed figure constitute a commission to `autolegends.

Offers received for all consigned vehicles and / or merchandise will be discussed with and agreed to by owner and `autolegends prior to sale agreement.

*Sliding- scale commission percentages range incrementally from 12% for vehicle sales below $20,000 to 3% for sales $250,000 and above. Please inquire. These guidelines are subject to change.
